What's Happening in 2010?
Well, so much of that is up to YOU, dear reader, that even WE don't know until YOU tell us!
That being said, some things we totally expect are:
- entertaining screenings of genre shorts and films
- great vendors to sate your hunger for all things game
- live demos by reenactors of all kinds
- our now-famous gaming library
- tournaments for those with a competetive streak
- A Steampunk shindig
- Our fabulous assortment of GM-selected games!
Stay tuned because we'll have information posted as we have it!
Last year we had:
- the Mandalorian Mercs, Vikings of Vinholm and the Society for Creative Anachronism
- the biggest gaming library ever!
- great authors in the fantasy and game generes who met in small workshops to talk about their work, meet fans and answer questions
- workshops on gaming subjects
- the Lady Gamers' Tea meet & greet
And of course....
TONS of games of all kinds. Not including pick-up games (there was one game of Apples to Apples which seemed to go on four about six hours)we had games running continuously from 9am to midnight Saturday, and from 9am to 4 on Sunday. There was never a dull moment!
